INTROS

What it says on the tin. Come introduce yourself, your character(s), what you're seeking, what you're loving, whatever you wanna throw in the ring!

In her canon she always came off as a mini caretaker. Her dad would use his ability. Get super sick from it and she’d take care of him. She was always the one to try to make people feel better when they were down because she never liked seeing people upset. So I carry a lot of that over into this universe.

She’s the There For You type whether you’re sick or emotionally worn out or whatever. But with how dear old dad was I see a lot of that slowly kind of. Being a little bit slowed down as they got older mostly because Charlie kind of started retaining people’s negative emotions without any good way of getting it out that she finds just yet. Eventually she figures out how to shove all those negative emotions into people she thinks deserves it but it also makes it harder for her to be around her family because of how overwhelming it can be.

But as kids she probably tried her best to be friends with everyone and all.

Oh neat, okay! So any thoughts on how she and Vanya would have gotten along as kids, and how Charlie would feel about the book?

I think until Charlie started trying to isolate herself because of everyone’s emotions she and vanya got along really well. And as long as she wasn’t made to look like an asshole in the book, she wouldn’t have been too upset. Everyone deals with shit their own way. That was Vanyas.

Okay! I kinda think like...I assume, based on everyone's reactions, that Vanya wasn't nice in the book. I'm good with them getting on well, I think it'll be a nice extra dimension of the drifting apart, since her being kept separated from all their activities is really crucial for Vanya's side. Since their dad didn't full on, like, stormtrooper them, they could have hung out in their down time and gotten on good then, if that works for you, and as everyone's emotions got to be too much for Charlie, Vanya would take it as a sign that there's no room for her in the Academy. Does that sound good?
