I think she's gotten along with Luther, even after she went off to college to learn costume design. She kind of thinks he needs to remove the stick from his backside? But personalitywise, she's a carefree kind of individual. She enjoys life and all it has to offer, she LOVES not being a superhero (though she's had to use her training home in Ohio for various things), but she won't push Luther to step out of if it makes him happy. People have their comfort zones and if they're happy in it, she's happy too.
She's also going to be super pissed off that he got sent to the moon for nothing and just tack that up to Dad being a dick who should never have been trusted with children.
Growing up, she really did try to get Luther to have more fun, play video games, sneak out for donuts and junk food. I also think that the older the kids got, the bigger their emotions got and that meant Charlie felt a lot of it, to the point of it being overwhelming where she kind of started to shut people out a bit? Luther, not so much? I imagine after she left the Academy and went to college, he was one of the ones she kept in a little better contact with. I think upon coming home for Dad's funeral, she's going to be a bit mystified that Luther held onto everything dad taught them, because her time away will really make her realise dad sucked. Majorly. So she might question why he stuck around when almost everyone else really couldn't wait to get away, and if his reasoning makes sense, she'll try to accept it, even if she doesn't agree with it.
I rambled. I'm sorry. I've been on a bus for over 20 hours, and I think I slept for none of that.

And yeah, I could see him actually being a little easier to deal with, empath-wise, since he's more buttoned-up and set in his ways and pre-series hadn't had quite as much stewing turmoil/conflict? And conversely, her abilities probably made Charlie easier for him to get along with, too, since she'd have a better insight past his ~facade~ and would be able to read his emotions/moods better. blah blah tl;dr imma go tag you now
