[While he waits for Charlie to show up, Klaus almost cries about Ben's awesome brothering. But he manages to keep it together by the end. When Charlie does get there, Klaus is slumped against the building, legs sprawled in front of him, flipping through texts or social media or... something on his phone. He glances up and brings his free hand up to nosedive into a thumbs-down sign, while blowing a raspberry.] To-oootal shithole.

[ Charlie doesn't like to put restaurants on the list of Places She'll Never Eat Again because with her metabolism? She has to keep her options open. However, Holey Moley Donuts was just barely on the good list and with what Klaus says? The nose-wrinkle and super disappointed sigh that comes from her is a sign that it's been demoted. ]

It looks skeezier than I remember, by a lot.

[ With that, she turns and sits next to Klaus, gently nudging his shoulder with hers. ]

Are we waiting for Diego?

I'm pretty sure a drug cartel is run out the back now. [Whether that's legit or not, who knows. But it looks sketchy enough, at any rate.] I dunno... [He mutters, glancing at his phone again.] He was acting all sulky when I said you were coming. [He rolls his head to one side, tilting it back just enough to look at his sister, smirk firmly in place.] You know he hates it when someone else does the hero'ing.

[ What she will be is mildly annoyed that it's yet another place Klaus can get in trouble in. She worries enough about him as is, she doesn't need this adding to it. She may have to appease Diego later and ask him to investigate. ]

Well, he has to get over it. You're my brother, too. He doesn't get to be greedy or jealous. We're a family.

[Even though none of them ever seem very prone to admit it so readily, Klaus knows that every one of his siblings barely sees much more than dear ol' dad ever did when they look at him. He's still firmly holding his place as Family Disappointment, even with the old man gone. He just wishes they would all stop having so much hope or faith in him, and his ability to do better, be better. He may not have cared what Reginald thought, but he hates disappointing his siblings. There's a snort at her words and he doubles over, laughing.] People in this family not jealous or greedy or pissed over something stupid? Char-char! [He puts a hand on her shoulder.] Come on, now. You know better than that.
