She shrugged as she fanned out the remainder of the deck to be their fish pond, brow creasing a little as she sorted out her own hand, "Before I showed up here I was ...sort of nowhere, I guess, but before that I was haunting Mendenham Hall, historical site and school, where I died. And when I'm present, like right now, time moves the same, seconds, minutes, hours and all the rest, but I'm not always present."
Her brow furrowed further, "I don't think I go back to the nowhere, I think I'm still here, at least, in this house, but not present? It's a bit difficult to explain, really. And going back? Don't suppose I want to go back to Mendenham, nothing left for me there. Not that I have any idea why I wound up here, a literal ocean away from where I was, still trying to figure that out."
