"Two!" This one becomes louder.

"One!" A promise that isn't quite a peel of laughter.

"Here I come," Allison sing-songs, hands dropping from over her eyes, and she starts a pace somewhere between a quick-skip and slow-jog from the wall at end of the hallway, starting to peak into rooms, making perimeter check sweeping glances along curtains bottoms and furniture edges, for where everyone had found to hide this time.
