Date nite, ft. 2 time assassins for siblings [Closed to Five's and Steve]
Rey was excited and not as nervous as she was anticipating herself to be. Tonight, she was going to have Steve over for pizza and a movie. A continuation of an earlier lunch date which went extremely well. A great first "date" and now, she was going to hang out with Steve again. He was a very sweet fellow who made her heart flutter and she couldn't believe they met and had exchanged numbers.
Her siblings advice on texting Steve (though she did not provide a name to her mysterious "friend") had gone pretty well, except the advice did not cover what to do if the objection of your affection texted you first. That had certainly thrown her for a loop, but it allowed them to talk, make plans...and now she was making sure the pizza was ordered, the movie was prepped and she had everything else she needed: water, soda if Steve wanted, and plenty of booze for her.
Which...actually reminded her of something.
Rey had thrown on an over sized emerald shirt with black leggings when she remembered she had to send a text to Five...or one of him? Both? Whatever the case, she needed one of him to pop over before her date arrived. Not that she was ashamed of her family but...she didn't think it was appropriate to have Steve and her eldest sibling meet--not yet.
Hey--There's still some coffee ice cream at my place. If you want it, come by in the next half hour.
Rey
Shouldn't take Five (one of them) long to read the message and pop on over...never mind the fact she put a time limit.
Now, she just needed to fix her hair a little. She had been wearing it in a pony tail all day, and she wanted to let it hang down.

I've been busy trying to find where exactly is the temporal rift located in the Academy. That takes priority over reading pink press.
[ He wants to make sure they're all safe, the other Five included, because he actually likes the little bastard in lieu of being, well, himself. It's amazing how not suffering from paradox psychosis clears the head and changes your views about meeting another version of oneself.
The blush on Rey face gets his attention quickly after that and Five hides a small smile behind the spoon. Ah, to be young and in love. If this whole thing ends going sideways, he will murder someone. Given how she has managed to get herself one of the most famous superheroes of the plant, it gives Five a little faith about their possible relationship. He snickers at his other self comment. ]
I think we should congratulate you on your impeccable taste, yes. Are there other historical figures that came back to life and I missed?
no subject
She has them, and there wasn't anyone else who she would want to share this with--albeit, she was close to dying of embarrassment.]
I told you both, I didn't know who he was. I thought he was one of the workers at Disney--someone who plays a hero, not...not an actual hero. [There's a sigh as she picks up her phone to check on where the pizza was. According to her app the driver was en route. Great. Hopefully it would get here before Steve showed up.
Five's important historical question does give the young woman pause.]
Do you want to count Hamilton? Relatively unknown, until the musical came into full swing. [And something Evie was part of, which was astounding for someone in their family. Girl had talent.]
But, look, you have a name, you have the ice cream. Are you going to be...nice? To Steve? [She gave them both a knowing look.
By "nice" she meant what she listed above. No background checks, no interrogations, nothing that would make the poor man run away screaming--Rey was trying to not do that herself.]
no subject
Finally he decides to knock because maybe it is just one of her neighbors or something.]
no subject
[ So not accepting that excuse, but certainly being the first to vocally acknowledge that he is seeing his other self as another family member as well.
It is hard not to tease Rey, when she is looking so flustered, but he resists the urge to keep it going. He waves his hands in deference.]
Fine, I'll be nice.
[ And he actually means it, Captain America has a reputation for being a stand up human being. And he has a history that is pretty public for anyone looking, complete with a Smithsonian exhibit dedicated wing to him and his accomplishments.
Then a knock at the door, stops him from saying anything else as he simply glances over to Five with a smirk. Looks like their distraction worked.]

You can work on memorizing the intricacies of modern pop culture as well as the news, and I'll work on the temporal anomaly. Then we update each other. More practical that way, and a better use of our time.
[ Should Rey be worried that one of the Fives is already thinking of long term plans and teaming up? Hm, maybe. ]
I have heard of Hamilton. [ The politician, not the musical. Five's not going to say that out loud because a- he doesn't care about musical and b-. He knows he will never hear the end of it if he says he doesn't care about musicals. Much like his other self, it's difficult not to want to tease their sister further, she makes it almost too easy. He takes another bite of the ice-cream, deliberately slow, before answering a; ]
We can do nice.
[ From all his fears about what sort of terrible people she might have ended with because nothing ever goes right in this family, he has to admit that Steve Rogers sounds like a safe bet. What are the odds that he will end a criminal? Very low, for sure. Besides, finding information about him is as easy as breathing.
Five has to stop himself from grinning when there's a knock at the door but he perks up and meets the other man's look. Yep, it worked just fine. He puts the lip on the ice cream container and quickly blinks to the kitchen, leaves it on the freezer, and spatial jumps himself back to stand next to the other Five. ]
There's someone at the door~ [ The voice is almost sweet, so casual that Five manages to sounds like the age he looks. Rey should know better than buy it but it could fool someone who doesn't know him well. ]
no subject
But, that was something to ponder another time. She had a sneaking suspicion something was up. Realization hit her when the doorbell rang and her spine stiffened. How could she have forgotten about the time constraint?! Her eyes shifted to the clock above her door.
FUCK.]
..Right...the door.
[She prayed to whatever deity was listening that it was the pizza guy, and not Steve.]
Be nice! [Rey managed to hiss over her shoulder, reiterating to both brothers as she tried to calm herself down. She brushed her hair back and tried to fix her shirt a little. Her heart was pounding hard in her chest, possibly loud enough for anyone else to hear.
Swallowing her nerves, she opened the door a little and managed a small, apologetic smile. Damnit, it was Steve and he looked nice and...she was essentially throwing him to the wolves.]
Hey...you look great. [Fuck, she wasn't about to cancel. She leaned in a little, trying to keep the door as close as possible to herself and to keep Steve from seeing who was inside her apartment.]
So...my brothers stopped by, and they're on their way out--but, they are aware of you and...I'm so sorry for whatever happens in the next few minutes. [God, help her right now. She flashed another apologetic smile then stepped back to open the door further to reveal both Five's and to let Steve in.]
Come in...and Steve, these are my brothers--The twins! [Fuck, they were going to need to come up with a cover story.]
no subject
It's fine. [ He said softly, giving her a reassuring smile, before she opened the door to fully invite him in. He looked mildly surprised when he laid eyes on the pair of thirteen year old boys, that didn't seem right that she had brothers so young. He was pretty sure, the debriefing he got on the Umbrella Academy said they were all the same age, born on the same day under mysterious circumstances. ]
Oh, hey there. I didn't realize you had younger brothers.
[ He walked further into the apartment, extending a hand toward them, offering a polite handshake to each of them. ]
It's nice to meet you, in any case.
no subject
Fine, we can discuss it later.
[He had always known that the person he could rely on most was himself. So them splitting tasks among themselves made sense. They could at least trust the other would follow through.
Though that is all put aside as he watches Five go put the ice cream away, while they both wait for Rey to cave and go answer the door. He almost leans into the other Five when he reappears beside him as she hisses at them to behave. Instinctively bites back his amusement to give her a frown. Cause huff, he already said he would be nice. Their positioning really making them look actual twins than the two versions of the same person.
Once Rey finally lets Steve in the door and introduces them as her twin brothers, he immediately notices the confused look that crosses Steve's face. He keeps his expression neutral, but he has a feeling that one Steve Rogers will detect any bullshit story they try to give him. Especially when he comments on them being her younger brothers.
Five spares a glance at his 'twin'. Should they be straight with the guy? Or wait it out to see if Steve calls them out? Though quickly his attention is back on Steve as he accepts the handshake despite his tendency to stray away from touch. ]
It's nice to meet you too.
no subject
We got quite a long list of subjects to discuss. But that can happen later, when they're not meddling into their sister's love life.
Poor Rey, even Five felts a pang of pity after seeing how alarmed she is about this whole ordeal. They just want to make sure she's going to be safe, it's not like they want to actively harm her possible relationship. Much like his other self, he ends pouting when Rey scolds them one last time before going for the door. They're adults! They know how to behave, thank you very much. And if they happen to be adults that are also somewhat of a troll, well, some things can't be helped. But they're doing this out of concern for her well being.
Five has to fight the urge to be the one now rolling his eyes at Rey's lame explanation about who they are. They really need to teach her how to come up with better cover stories and work on her poker face. But ey, that sure is Steve Rogers, all right. Rey wasn't lying or exaggerating, it really is the man in all his All American glory.
Glancing back at his now-called- twin, Five can read the question in the blue eyes. He wants to see how perceptive Steve really is, and not bring Rey more grief, so the small tilts of Five's head says 'Nah, let's see how it goes'. ]
Likewise. [ Despite his first reaction being to instinctively ignore the offered hand - why can't strangers keep those to themselves?- Five takes it with a smile that looks almost natural. ] We've been out of the city for a long while, so it's no wonder that mentioning us might have slipped Rey's mind. Besides, she always works too much and so hard...it's good to see she has now someone to unwind with. Someone who can be trusted.
[ Well, that is technically not a lie. Five has yet to let go of Steve's hand, though, and to break eye contact. He might not like unprompted contact but now he's reading Steve's reaction to, well, everything. ]
no subject
But, Steve was a smart guy. He was bound to know something was up. Good god, would it be wrong to have him forget about the whole thing? Use her power--no, no, she wouldn't go down that road.
She watched with a keen eye at the exchange of pleasantries, preparing to shut the door just as the pizza guy showed up. If it wasn't for the 'Um, MA'AM!' from the red haired teen, she would've closed the door on the poor guy's face. She quickly fished out more than enough money, took the pizzas then closed the door--only to open it again with her powers and quickly uttered a 'thank you' and an apology.
The door was shut again with Rey quickly placing the large pizza on top of her kitchen stove.
Good god-- She always works too much...good to see she has someone to unwind with. Someone who can be trusted. Rey wanted to crumple to the floor and lay there until the whole mess was over. Fuck, did she try to be a mediator between the Fives and Steve? There was no fucking handbook on how to deal with this. No, no, they said they would play nice--yet looking at Five holding on Steve's hand--did it look like he was daring Captain America to do something?]
Pizza's...here.. [She managed to say after all this time.
Fuck...FUCK. This entire thing was going to blow up in her face. Taking in a deep breath, she gave up on trying to take control of the situation, opened her fridge and grabbed the vodka bottle. Tonight was going to be a shit show, might as well usher the chaos right along. Luther and Diego did well with fewer brain cells, maybe she should take that approach.]
If anyone wants anything to drink--vodka included, let me know.
[Her liver was going to learn how to deal with more than two shots tonight.]
no subject
Steve's not sure how he feels about that given their current appearance, but he also can't shake the feeling that there is more going on then meets the eye. However he can feel and hear the distress in Rey's voice. Especially at the way one of her brother's maintains a grip on his hand while giving him a coded message, his expression practically demanding that Steve not do anything to hurt his sister.
In response, he gives Five's hand a gentle squeeze along with a self-depreciating smile. ]
Well Rey's a special woman, so I'm happy that she even wants to spend time with me. But I'm sure you two know exactly how special she is.
[His eyes say it all. 'She's safe with me, I promise you that.' He's the first to break the gaze with Five and glance over to Rey.]
Pizza sounds great, Rey, but you sure you want to break out the vodka already? We haven't even started the movie yet.
[ He questions gently, not judging her, but hoping that she knows that he isn't going anywhere no matter what her twin protectors toss at him. He can handle this, he's got plenty of practice from dealing with Nat, Sam and Bucky, who all have protective streaks several miles long.
He glances back over to both Fives with an expectant gaze. 'Are we good?']
no subject
Steve's response admittedly catches him a bit off guard, in his experience, no one is generally that good, but damn if this man doesn't live up to his hype. He reads that expression he gives to both him and his counterpart with ease.]
Mm, of course, we know.
[ Five replies simply, placing a hand on his counterpart's shoulder. His way of giving his other self, reassurance that he does believe the man can be trusted, at least with Rey's safety for the time being. If Steve isn't calling them out on the twin brothers lie or how they manage to be so much younger looking than Rey, then he's not going to volunteer the information.
He takes a moment to glance over to Rey with an apologetic gaze. They did say they would behave, but some times they can't stop themselves from being little shit starters. But Steve's not rising to the bait and that's a good thing.]
Maybe we should head out?
[ He suggests to his 'twin' as he can see poor Rey on the verge of a breakdown and that the last thing either of them really wants. ]
no subject
From the corner of his eye, he witnesses the interaction between Rey and the poor pizza guy and it's both totally hilarious and somewhat worrisome. They really overstayed if their sister is already acting like that and going for the strong drinks. Looking at his twin, Five gives a short but polite nod of agreement. ]
Good idea. Thanks for the ice-cream, Rey. [ And thanks for the patience, the voice seems to imply. It's not meek because Five doesn't even have that word in his vocabulary but it's truly honest. ] Have a good evening, you two.
[ The last part is directed at Steve. While Five still has a lot of new questions he wants answered, they can wait for another time. Tonight is Rey's night. ]

Rey managed to get the glasses out for herself and the three men in her apartment. Steve was trying to gently tear her away from pouring vodka into her glass. His tone helped, and honestly, she shouldn't come off as a drunk for the second date.]
As you wish.. [She murmured, turning around to look at her brothers, catching one of them giving her an apologetic look. She looks flustered and stressed, but at least she didn't look like she was about to have a break down.
What was surprising was how both of them were prepared to go. Something that she should be rejoicing in, yet she felt a pang of guilt. She wasn't trying to kick them out, but they did need to leave. The brunette managed a tired smile.]
Welcome, let me know if you want more. [Another look at both them with an understanding that she would be fine--and if all else fails, she'd let them know.
She waited for both of them to blink out of her apartment, looking out of the corner of her eyes to see Steve's reaction to their powers. The twins gone, Rey turned her back to Steve to put back two glasses.]
They're protective and guessed who you were. I thought they would be over for a few minutes, and it turned into 20 questions...[A frustrated sigh as she opted to grab Steve a glass of water, her mood a little down.]
Did you still want to watch the movie? [And now she was half way expecting him to walk away because that was weird, but it was her life.]
no subject
He simply smiles when Five releases his grip on his hand and lets his hand fall to his side. He definitely feel that slight tension break, so he takes it as a small victory that her brothers are going to trust that he doesn't have bad intentions toward their sister. He's honestly not offended that they were feeling him out, he's done similarly for his close friends that he thinks of as family. It's normal for them to be overprotective, just means Rey's family cares about her.
He carefully watches the interaction between Rey and her siblings. A lot of silent gestures, but even he could see they were all close. It was actually heart warming to witness. Maybe their adopted father hadn't messed them up as badly as he could have? Steve can't say for sure, he just knows from what he read of Reginald Hargreeves, the guy was not someone he would have saw eye to eye with had he been around when he suddenly surfaced after World War II. ]
Have a good evening, you guys.
[He tells her brothers in turn, when one of them speaks directly to him. He only looks mildly surprised when they both vanish in a flash of blue light. Teleporters? He was really going to have to look at those records again. However that's for later, for now his attention is back on Rey. ]
You don't have to explain. I get it, they just want to make sure I'm not some jerk out to hurt their sister. It's sweet they care that much.
[ He offers up a smile as he walks over to her, closing the distance between them. Tentatively he reaches out and places a hand on her shoulder. ]
Why wouldn't I want to watch the movie? I came all this way after all.
[ His tone is joking as he urges her to turn around fully. ]
Really, it's okay. Overprotective siblings are not a deal breaker here.
no subject
She could hear the joking tone in his voice, and the hand on her shoulder relaxes her a little. The glasses were put away, and the glass she had in her hand for him was left on the counter in favor of placing her hand on top of his.
Slowly, Rey turned around. There was a slightly flustered look on her face. Her fingers slid in between the spaces between his knuckles, gently lowering his hand from her shoulder. It may have been bold of her to hold his hand, but her grip wasn't tight. Steve could pull away if he wanted to. Subconsciously, she wanted to hold him, but couldn't bring herself to fully go for it, so his hand was the next best thing.]
They bring a whole new level to 'overprotective,' and I wasn't sure if you wanted anyone else to know. [And secretly fretting about what he may think of their powers. Yes, he was Captain America who had his run ins with other agencies and with fighting bad guys, but there was nothing like the Umbrella Academy kids.]
I also wasn't sure if they should meet you, but they stalled for time until you came. [Clever shit stirrers, really.] And, I know it's weird, and different...and this is still early--I told you I over think things, and I don't want to mess anything up.
[Rey confessed softly, disliking herself for being this soft and vulnerable. Not that she didn't think Steve would use it against her, but she was so much better than what she was now. He made her feel weak in the knees and as much as she didn't believe in fairy tales, she was hoping this one may come true...a little.]
no subject
It's alright, Rey. You don't have to keep me a secret from anyone that matters to you. As long as you don't sell me out to the tabloids, I think we're good.
[ He says the last line jokingly because he doesn't see Rey as the type who would sell her story to the dirtrags to make a quick buck off of him. Maybe he should have been more clear that he wasn't trying to keep them entirely under wraps from everyone. Granted he wasn't telling his friends about her yet, but that was because it was new and he didn't need them pulling up her dossier from SHIELD headquarters.]
That was sneaky of them, but from the looks of it, you three seem super close. Body language conversations only really happen when you are highly attuned to someone.
[Not that he is trying to put her on the spot, he understands the significance of being able to communicate with someone without the use of words. The body language he speaks with his friends is very different from the body language he shared with his squad, but it is all significant.
He gives her hand another gentle squeeze at her worries over messing things up between them. ] Come here.
[ He says simply, moving to pull her into a hug, because she truly looked as if she needed one. ] How can I help ease some of that worry, hm? Because so far, you've been pretty darn great.
no subject
One thing at a time.
What was touching was Steve gently squeezing her hand, offering some reassurance to her. He wasn't going to run screaming away. He wasn't afraid. Though, there were things he didn't know. He was very observant about how close Rey and the Five's were. There was another reason why she was close to them, her powers. They had let her into their minds at separate points....and she should probably be open and honest about her own abilities.
He pulled her into a hug, something she wasn't expecting. It took a moment to realize what was happening before her arms came around his waist, returning the embrace and feeling calmer? Better? All of the above, and how safe she felt then...
And bless him, did he just say 'darn'?]
You're doing it right now. [Her eyes fluttered shut, taking in the moment for what it was, not wanting to let go but knew it would have to happen eventually. Little by little, she began to pull back, but didn't break the hug entirely. Rey was still close enough to keep hugging him or, lean in for a kiss if either party wanted it.]
I needed that, thank you. [Rey didn't look at flustered as before and the smile on her face was softer. She was slowly coming down from her state of stress and worry.] But, maybe I could hold your hand during the movie?
[It felt silly to ask, and she felt so sheepish for asking, but she wanted to make sure she wasn't going too fast! Holding his hand felt nice, and being close to him felt even better. Though, if they were in a movie theater, they would be seated next to each other and she may have been able to slyly slipped her hand into his, but that was neither here nor there.]
But, yes, you're right. The twins and I are close, not solely because of our upbringing but... [Might as well rip off the band aid, right? Better he learn from her than a file.] I have telekenetic and empathic abilities. I can move things with my mind, and if I'm not careful, I can feel the emotions of others or skim the thoughts of another--which, I'm not doing now.
[Just have to put that out there for him.] Dad... [Her smile turned a bit bitter there at the mention of Reginald.] Was an ass, but he did help us to control our abilities. I don't read anyone's emotions or enter their mind without their consent.
[Rey paused, letting the information sink into Steve's mind. The back of her mind was whispering that now would be the time when he'd leave. He could handle bad guys, but could he be with someone who had the potential to read him?]
no subject
Glad to hear it. [ He replied simply as she pulled back to look up at him, instinctively his hands moved up to rest at her shoulders.]
You're welcome and of course. [ He grins in amusement, but he can't but think that she looks incredibly cute asking for something so innocent. However he listens intently when the conversations shifts back over to her brothers and inevitably her powers. He was aware that she did have powers, but he hadn't exactly remembered which were hers. Truthfully he hadn't bothered checking because he figured she would likely tell him eventually.]
Oh? Is that why you've been worried? [He believes her when she says she hasn't read him, because she honestly doesn't seem like she has or she wouldn't have been so worried about whether or not he liked her. And well he is fairly good at detecting when people are being dishonest wholeheartedly with him. Rey hasn't ever really given him pause to think she might be trying to manipulate him.]
Look, this might come as a shock to you, but I've worked with some super powered individuals before. And well I'm not exactly normal myself, how do you think I survived being frozen for 67 years? I am glad to hear that your father did help you all with your abilities though, even if I completely disagree with him sending children out to fight crime. However I wasn't around back then to champion for you guys, because honestly I would have been very loud about children being allowed to be children.
[He gives her an apologetic grimace because he hadn't meant to rant to her about his opinions of her guardian. Even if everything he has ever heard about the man, left a bad taste in his mouth, she didn't need to hear it.]
Sorry, I didn't mean to go off on a tangent there.
no subject
Hell, it took Finn (a college friend) to get her to open up and trust him. He was one of her closest friends, same with Poe.
Neither of them were like Steve. Aside from him being Captain America, fighting crime and being around others with super powers, he was someone she liked. Someone she was dating, and someone she wanted to keep seeing--if he wanted the same.
She listened to him, taking in his words and found herself calming down further. There was a soft chuckle as Rey ducked her head slightly, causing some of her hair to slip in front of her face. She tucked it back with one hand as she looked back up at him.]
It's fine. I can't say Reginald would've appreciated someone butting into his business, but...[There was a soft shrug of her shoulders. This might be where she was still hung up on a few things from her childhood.] He provided us with a home, we could've had it a lot worse. He was still an ass and a terrible parent, but at least we had him.
[Finding the silver lining in the darkest of situations.]
But, I'm not sure if the others you've worked with can shoot lightening and compel others to do things? [Rey paused again, trying to work out how to best explain that particular power.] I relate it more to the power of suggestion, and it's very limited. Make someone walk away and pretend things are fine even when they've seen something strange. Or convince a bartender a drink was paid for, and have them pour a shot on the house.
I haven't used it on anyone recently--with the exception of, if there's someone who hears about the Academy and can't take 'no' for answer, but that hasn't happened in a while.
[One of the few times she would give in and use her abilities--outside of what they did in Disney World, but that was more for family bonding.]
I don't want you to think I'd ever use my abilities on you--that's not who I am.
no subject
Would it shock you to learn there is a woman out in the world who has control over the weather? So she can create lightning, wind, rain, the whole shebang.
[ He's not going to identify the woman because that part is clasified, but if knowing she exists helps Rey feel less isolated. He's also aware of others with mind powers similar to what she is explaining, but they are definitely one hundred percent classified. He honestly doesn't know if SHIELD knows about Rey's powers but he doesn't plan on enlightening them in any case. Because truth be told, he doesn't 100% trust SHIELD most of the time. ]
Honestly Rey, I believe you when you say that you wouldn't use your powers on me without my consent. It means a lot that you feel you can trust me enough to tell me these things. So I'll do my best not to shake that trust, okay?
no subject
A fond memory making her smile stand out a little more.]
Wouldn't surprise me, but you sure know how to make a girl feel ordinary.
[Teasing to lighten the mood and to see if she could get him to chuckle. Far from ordinary, she knew that but only thought it went as far as her powers. Personality, looks, and everything else, she didn't think much of. Baggage that could be discussed on another day.]
Okay... [A nod of her head, taking Steve's word for it. Though she didn't need to read his mind, she knew she could trust him. Maybe it was the look in his eyes, or how safe she felt in his arms. She bridged the gap between them again, giving him a hug this time.]
Thank you again, for everything. [Coming over, being understanding...the entire thing. She gave him a gentle squeeze before slowly puling back to hand reach behind her to give him his glass of water.]
Help yourself to the pizza, there are paper plates on top. I can pop the movie into the Blue-Ray player.
no subject
Is that good or bad?
[ He teases right back, even as she hugs him again. He gives her another reassuring squeeze that he's still sticking around. It's not everyday, he meets someone that he connects with so easily and he isn't willing to give it up because things are getting unconventional. ]
You're welcome, Rey. But really you don't have to thank me. [ And he meant it, consoling her felt right and he didn't ever need thanks for doing what felt right to him. Instinctively he released his grip on her as she pulled away, taking the glass of water she offered him. Honestly relieved that she seemed a lot more calm now. ]
Alright. [He nodded, moving over to the stove where she had placed the pizza. ] Do you want me to grab you a slice too?
[He offered, since she was going to set up the movie. ]
no subject
Him, Steve Rogers. Not Captain America.]
It's a good thing, trust me. [No need to explain how refreshing it was. He understood better than most. How being so extraordinary was more of a curse than a blessing at times. Yes, she had her siblings, but for years they were a fractured group. The people she did meet, she had to keep her guard up and wonder what their true intentions were. She had very few people in her life that weren't her family that she could count on.
As for the slice of pizza there was a brief shake of her head.]
No, I'll get it myself thank you though. And there's packets for cheese and pepper too. [Rey trusted Steve to let her know if he needed anything that he'd let her know.
Giving him a more confident smile, she pulled away from him to set up their movie. It didn't take too long with her turning the television and Blue-Ray player on. In a few seconds, she popped the movie in and went back into the kitchen to grab her slide of pizza.
