I hope you all like some drama

Oh boy. I don't usually headcanon much for my chars but for the gremlin I do have a few. IN THIS ESSAY I WILL...

Power training

Remember how Luther threw Five of the stairs and he teleported in mid-air? Pretty sure Bastard alien dad Reginald put him through some pretty weird and risky special training alogn the years to figure out the limitations of his powers. Such as: if they function normally in freezing cold temperatures or the opposite, extremely hot weather, how many jumps it takes Five to get too tired to even move and from how high in the air can he be dropped before teleporting as to not hit the ground.

Unlike most of his sibling's power, Five's are related to his energy level and health. After special training with their father, he ended in massive pain, sick or with some broken bones. He didn't always manage to hide from his sibling after that and he hated people seeing him at his lowest. Feel free to assume that Five either tried in vain to avoid your muse or decided to crash in their room because he was too tired to get into his own.

Now, for a new layer or Nightmare fuel...Five can spatial jump holding objects just fine. But it's not until the last episode of s2 where it's shown that he can spatial jump people with him (and apparently it makes them queasy). How do you think Reginald tested if Five could jump from one place to another without killing the living thing he teleportign with him? Why, with little pets of course. I'll say that testing it while Five was holding onto a fish tank would have done the trick but knowing Reginald, he would have wanted to test something with more mass than a fish, like a dog or a cat.

We know that, fortunately, spatial jumping with another living creature doesn't end like the movie the Fly but that training still left Five scarred. He refused to jump at first because he didn't want to accidentally kill a puppy and that was an epic clash with his father. There was probably scremaing that coudl be heard around the house. (And his dad didn't let them keep the doggie afterwards, the bastard).

Sibling relationships.

As mentioned in some excerpts of Vanya's book that were circulating in the net (bless the Fandom's attention to detail), Five spent time with Vanya by his own volition, enjoyed her quietness, and she played the violin for him. She mentions that he was her only confidant, so they were pretty close.

The book also implies that at times Five argued with their father to redirect the man's anger from his siblings to him. Five's not good at showing concern, not with words, so his way to protect his siblings at the time was to act haughty and try to undermine the importance of their powers. Because if dear 'ol dad was focussed on Five, his siblings wouldn't have to deal with the monster. It went so-so.

Feel free to assume that he interfered in someway when Reginald was scolding/yelling/about to make another of his sibling's life difficult--and had to deal with more of the special power training from hell. Which led to Five being extra cranky afterward.

OKAY, SOMETHING NICE THIS TIME

How do you keep a kid who can teleport in his room? You can't, so even if Reginald established a curfew Five probably did as he pleased. He often teleported into his sibling's rooms to chat, play with them, or get them all out of the house so they could go eat donuts.

I like to think he visited Klaus in the mausoleum too once he figured what Reginald was doing to him, and keep him company for a few hours.
