[ It is very, very hard to keep everyones emotions out at the moment. There's so much anger and hurt in the air that Charlie feels like she's breathing it. She worked so hard, so hard for years and years to keep those emotions out. To keep everyone's feelings from overwhelming her, but if she's going to be honest, the last few weeks back home have made her a bit lax in that area. So she's picking up on every hateful, hurtful emotion and it's making her angry.

Or maybe she's reacting to someone's anger. It's possibly one of the Klaus'.

In fact, with the way she just silently glares at their dad, picks up the nearest empty mug from the counter and wings it right at him?

It is absolutely a Klaus emotion.

It wasn't her, not with the momentary look of 'ohfuck' on her face the second the mug leaves her hand. For someone like Charlie, someone who knows how volatile emotions can cause big problems (fires) for her, and who tries to be as non-violent as she can, this action is certainly out of character for her.

But there it is. One hand-painted ceramic mug with the words 'fuck this shit' painted on it in glittery rainbow colors. Arching through the air, right at their dad. And Charlie's too shocked by what she did to reach out with her telekinesis to stop it. ]

[It's almost like a scene in slow motion; the cup leaving Charlie's hand like a guided missile, purposefully careening towards Sir Reginald's head, everything else frozen, with no-one having the presence of mind to try to stop it (if in fact, they even wanted to), the projectile on the verge of crashing into his face—only to pass right through it and shatter against the wall... a rather anticlimactic end, when all was said and done.

Sir Reginald merely lifts a skeptical eyebrow.]
