Reginald Hargreeves Home for Super Powered Children
Also known as The Umbrella Academy
An eccentric billionaire once bought a few children born under crazy circumstances. That hasn’t changed. The timing in which he bought them though, that’s new. The first seven children were found at different times, brought into the Academy and trained to work as a superhero team. After their first Bank Robbery the news of the Inaugural Class of The Umbrella Academy spread world wide.
Seeking other super powered children or others born of the 43, Reginald opened his Academy to others as they came. Opened his home to children in need of learning how to control their powers. Sometimes they were bought, like the original, and sometimes they were runaways. They all had some form of a power or talent, though not all of them were useful to him.
The Media calls them The Umbrella Siblings, though not all take the Hargreeves family name.
The man still studied every child as he did his first seven, trying to learn everything he could from them. Each of them had a number, and if they came with no name they were given one by Grace.
Reginald did vigorous training with each student, as well as made sure their education was perfect. Study was important. Pogo was considered a Professor for the school, and Grace tended to teach those willing to learn about cooking and health care. Once in a while, if a super powered adult was in need and could help train the kids, they were brought on board as well.
All children of use are part of a team, though once they reach adulthood the uniforms change from school uniforms to leather suits and the missions are a bit more darker.
The Idea:
Play as children, play as adults.
Play in an actual Academy setting, a bit like the X-men but in a Hargreeves kind of manner.
Go on missions.
Do training together!
Teach a class!
Make out with someone in a dark corner.
This is a great setting for those not part of TUA cast to join in as if they were. Teachers are always needed too.
Feel free to play as Children, Teenagers or Adults. And don't forget your Domino Mask!
