"Me, no," Diego says, chewing thoughtfully. "But there has to be other people out there, right? Klaus can't be the only one."

He's teasing, mostly. He had hardly believed Klaus when he said Ben was there and he knew Klaus had the power when he wanted it. He sure wouldn't have believed some stranger if they said Ben was talking to them.

"It doesn't matter how you're back, just that you are." It's the closest thing he can manage to saying that he'd been missed. He and Ben may not have been super close when they were younger, but he was a whole lot less annoying than Luther and Klaus.
